The downtime preventer is run by a team of developers from the UK. Tired with expensive downtime notification services that charged hefty subscriptions for a second-grade service they decided to launch their own version.

Who's behind it?

The service has been created by developers, for developers (but not exclusively). Our aim is to try and ensure maximum uptime for your server at minimum cost.

Cost

We know that cost is important. That's why the only charge we have at present is for sending our SMS messages. These messages are only ever sent out when we believe your server or web site to be offline, so you only pay when it's needed.
